1. What is the current situation in my country/the country I am studying/countries I am comparing? Most of colombian people believe in the catholic culture which has only one god.
2. What are the global influences on the situation?
The budhist influence in colombia we can say that is very little taking into account that Buddhist practices such as meditation , are a means to transform oneself , developing the qualities of awareness , kindness and wisdom. 3. How far does the global situation affect the national/local situation I am studying?
Maybe budhist would affect the contry in the way that as Buddhists do not seek to "evangelize " or coerce others to adopt their religion , but put his teachings available to those interested . Many people take the practices of meditation and philosophy of life of Buddhism to improve their lives without considering strict Buddhists.

Neither lf both because budhist culture is not bad is just a different way to express ideas of the religion.

Considering the principles of budism and it ideas i predict that if many people have the chance of knowing it better they would change of culture.
6. How likely is this to happen and would it be a good idea?
I think it is an hipothesis that have many possiblities to happen because budhist culture is an idea that i think many people would like because of its respect and basements.
